[Rdap] NSF Dear Colleague Letter

I was a bit late in seeing this Dear Colleague letter inviting proposals about data citation and impact metrics: http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14059/nsf14059.jsp

This looks like a great opportunity to fund a project that would help our field. However, my colleagues at MSU aren't able to make the time to put together a proposal by the June 10th due date. Is anyone planning to submit a proposal? If so, I would love to be involved in brainstorming, writing, or researching.
