Hi All,

We have extended the deadline for this (very short) survey until end of business tomorrow (3/3) because we are hoping to get a fuller representation from the RDAP community. THANK YOU TO ALL who have participated!

The RDAP Future Vision Task Force (a subset of the RDAP planning committee) has been working to clarify RDAP's role and purpose. A large part of that process has been to craft a series of statements that the task force feels encompasses the three core aspects of RDAP: mission, community, and annual summit.

This short survey<https://cornell.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bd2n39YfKX7dL8N> (2-5 min) will ask for your feedback on the draft statement and provide three additional questions which will have a hand in shaping the future of RDAP. Please complete the survey by EOB Friday 3/3/2017. The results of this survey and information regarding future trajectories will be presented at the 2017 RDAP conference. Thank you for your participation, time, and passion!

Sincerely,
The RDAP Future Vision Task Force

Open data is data that can be freely used, re-used and redistributed. Some examples of open data resources include the Human Genome Project, the United Nations UNdata, and the City of Chicago data portal. Open data can spur business innovation, help patients and families make better decisions about their health, or accelerate the pace of scientific discovery. This symposium will provide participants with an understanding of what open data is, how it gets created and shared, and examples of how open data might contribute to progress in our communities.
