I am passing on the below Call for Abstracts for an NSF-supported conference that colleagues of mine are organizing at Carnegie Mellon May 13-15, 2019, Artificial Intelligence for Data Discovery and Reuse<https://events.library.cmu.edu/aidr2019/call-for-submissions/>. The conference will focus on AI/ML approaches to solving challenging issues in scientific data discovery and reuse. Abstract submission (deadline: Feb 1) and registration are both open now.

Artificial Intelligence for Data Discovery and Reuse

Supported by the NSF scientific data reuse initiative, AIDR 2019 is a conference aiming to find innovative solutions to accelerate the dissemination and reuse of scientific data in the data revolution. The conference program committee seeks proposals for presentations that address applications of AI/ML to challenges related to the discovery, reuse and management of data across disciplinary domains. Innovative algorithms, tools and platforms, and successful use cases, especially those related to biomedical data, are of great interest.
