Dear RDAP Community,

RDAP has been invited to a NSF-funded workshop after CNI in St. Louis on
April 9 and 10 on “Defining, sharing, and strengthening the ecosystem of
research
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iXyMZaBYfHaU6z7aaPN0708XFFv79X3-0-qlHlQQec0/edit>”.
The purpose is to bring together organizations that are similar and related
to learn about each other and craft a holistic ecosystem of educational
technologies, research data, and computing.

As representatives of RDAP and thus YOU, we want to be sure that your voice
and ideas are heard and incorporated into our message. Please consider
and respond
by April 3rd, 2019.

   - What is the value that data practitioners can bring to this larger
   ecosystem?
   - What would you hope that a supergroup like this may support or
   provide?

Here is the complete list of the organizations attending: Association of
Research Libraries (ARL), Big Data Hubs, Campus Champions (CC), Campus
Research Computing Consortium (CaRCC), Carpentries, Coalition for Academic
Scientific Computation (CASC), Coalition for Networked Information (CNI),
Education Opportunities (HPC University, SIG HPC Education), EDUCAUSE,
EPOC/CI Engineers, Global Environment for Network Innovations (GENI),
GPN/Regional Network, HPC Systems Professionals, Midscale Experimental
Research Infrastructure Forum (MERIF), Open Science Grid (OSG), Research
Data Access & Preservation Association (RDAP), Women in HPC (WHPC), Extreme
Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), Minority Serving
Institutions / Historically Black Colleges & Universities

Thank you!

Erica Johns & Amy Neeser
