Hi All,

I made it to Santa Fe on Sunday (note to self: do not travel on daylight savings day) and thought I would share a few notes:

Santa Fe is a high altitude desert - 7000ft. If you are not used to this your body can take a nose dive -sleep to much, not sleep at all, stomach upset, headaches, etc. Skip the alcohol on the first day until you know how your body reacts. drink a lot of water - bring water bottle. If you feel you need help there is an Oxygen Bar on San Francisco St about 2 blocks south of the convention center - hours 10am- 8pm.

Wear layers. It will be in the 30s when you leave for the cc in the morning, but in the high 50s by afternoon. They are predicting showers Wednesday afternoon and also again on Friday

I'm in the Sage Inn which is about a 20-30 min walk to the CC. The Sage bus service does not start until 9am - therefore will get us to the cc too late. The city of Santa Fe has a free bus service - the Santa Fe Pickup. There are two buses running every half hour so pick up is every 15 min. starting at 6:30am - you do the math. https://www.santafenm.gov/santa_fe_pickup_shuttle

Pick up the bus at Cerrillos and Paseo de Paralita. Tell the bus driver where you are going - Get off at Marcy and Sheridan

See ya Wednesday

Safe travels
