<p class="MsoNormal">Our faculty seeks an innovative, dynamic, and highly collaborative librarian who will drive our efforts to deliver library services to the institution’s social science disciplines, including political science, economics, sociology, communications,
and anthropology. This newly-created position will support social scientists in multiple colleges, bringing disciplinary resources to inform research and instruction programs and contributing expertise to help develop and support new campus initiatives. Reporting
to the Dean, this position will work within the User and Research Services unit and closely collaborate with other library units such as Data and Digital Services. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the literature, data applications,
and research methods of the social sciences. This individual will serve as the liaison to the social sciences in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences and will perform collection development and disciplinary instruction as well as conduct research
and provide reference assistance. An ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and oral and written communications skills as well as a commitment to serving social science researchers and instructors and the ability to adapt to an evolving
interdisciplinary environment.<o:p></o:p></p>
