<p class="MsoNormal">I just attended the Globus World conference here in Chicago this week. We (in the Northwestern library) are in the planning stages of integrating Globus file transfer with our repository for both ingest and public access of large data sets.
The IT research computing department currently uses Globus for transferring data in and out of our High-performance Computing environment. The Globus conference program and slides are available here:
