<div>Duties:</div>
<div><span style="font-size: 12pt;">* Work collaboratively with a team of librarians to deliver business information support services across all phases of research, teaching and learning.</span><br>
</div>
<div>* Provide a full range of data support services including assisting researchers with data analysis software packages, statistical and qualitative data analysis techniques, and data collection, management, visualization and preservation.</div>
<div>* Design and teach specialized classes and workshops on business data-related topics.</div>
<div>* Partner with subject and functional specialists to increase skills and knowledge of data resources, analysis tools and methods. </div>
<div>* Collaborate with other librarians to build relationships with vendors for improved customer service and communications of existing and new data products, services and tools.</div>
<div>* Participate in library planning and serve on library-wide committees and teams. </div>
<div>* Participate in evening and weekend service schedules.</div>

<div><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Required:</span><br>
</div>
<div>* Master’s degree in library or information science/management, business, economics, statistics or related discipline; and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably at the graduate level), are required.</div>
<div>* Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with business, economic or social science information and data sources.</div>
<div>* Experience finding, acquiring, manipulating and analyzing quantitative data in a research environment.</div>
<div>* Demonstrated ability to instruct and guide others in the use of data sources and data analysis tools.</div>
<div>* Basic familiarity with one or more statistical and/or qualitative analysis software packages, for example, MATLAB, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, NVivo.</div>
<div>* Demonstrated interest in business librarianship.</div>
<div>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</div>
<div>* Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage projects.</div>
<div>* Demonstrated ability to work within and across committees and teams, and to contribute constructively to a collegial team environment.</div>

<div>Preferred</div>
<div>* Undergraduate or advanced degree in business, statistics, economics or a related subject.</div>
<div>* Experience with commonly used business data platforms such as Bloomberg, Datastream, Factset, S&P Capital IQ, Thomson One, WRDS and others.</div>
<div>* Experience in a business-focused library or information service.</div>
<div>* Experience cleaning and converting multiple data formats.</div>
<div>* Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.</div>
<div>* Knowledge of data mining and analysis tools and textual analysis.</div>
