ubiquitous, but challenges are still ahead in attaining equitable and
sustainable access through disciplinary, institutional, and publisher
repositories. This webcast will briefly review the current landscape of data
repositories and the challenges researchers continue to face. The presenters
will discuss how repositories present opportunities and threats to equitable
and sustainable access. The webcast will continue with an exploration of the
DataONE model and how this NSF-funded network of data repositories is
implementing best practices for deposit, provenance, access, sustainability,
and reuse for earth sciences data.</span></p>

the College of Dentistry. Her research focuses on research data policies and
education as well as student perceptions of library learning analytics. She is
a Co-Investigator of the IMLS-funded Data Doubles project. Goben is an active

embodied in the W3C’s PROV recommendation, to libraries, archives, and museums
as well as understanding and supporting data management as a co-investigator
for the NSF-funded DataONE project. Sandusky is a member of ASIST and serves as
