There was an interesting article in the Asheville, NC Citizen Times
entitled,Project seeks to recreate history of Asheville's Southside. The
collaboration is one of the case studies in the National Science
Foundation/National Archives and Records Administration's jointly-funded
CyberInfrastructure for Billions of Electronic Records (CI-BER) project.
This particular case study is about establishing a framework so that anyone
can use "big data" to learn more about their past and help determine their
future.
