*Science Librarian Position at Santa Clara University*



Santa Clara University, a comprehensive Jesuit, Catholic university located
in California’s Silicon Valley,  seeks a creative, user-oriented, and
self-motivated librarian for the position of Science Librarian. This
position provides specialized research consultation, instruction, and
collection development for undergraduate programs in biology,
chemistry/biochemistry, physics, environmental studies, and public health
science.  This position works collaboratively with faculty to support
student learning through dynamic library instruction and faculty
scholarship through expert research consultation. As a subject librarian,
he/she collaborates with other librarians and library leaders to support
1st year instructional programs and general research services. This
position reports to the Head of Research, and Outreach. MLIS is required.
Some experience working in an academic library is preferred, but strong
entry-level candidates will be considered.
